PHOTOGRAPHS OF AFGHANISTAN
These photographs were taken by Elizabeth Willcox ( a few by George) between 1977 and 1979 when they were working on archaeological excavations. At this time Afghanistan was relatively peaceful and we hope that these images portray the harmony that existed between the peoples and the landscapes of this beautiful country. Our thanks to the Afghan people and their openness, kindness and hospitality.
